do something:

On the bottom of the page we are going to add our OLD table of contacts to complain to the FCC and the Department of Public Service. It is now December 18th, 2010. We know these are old lists so help us update them.

And of course, you can start shopping for other companies right now at these sites.

Complain to the FCC
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is an independent United States Government agency, directly responsible to Congress. The FCC was established by the Communications Act of 1934 and is charged with regulating interstate and international communications by radio, television, wire, satellite and cable. The FCC's jurisdiction covers the 50 states, the District of Columbia, and U.S. possessions.

If you are curious, sure, check it out. If you are pressed for time and just want to send a complaint, move on down and click one of the links below.

You must start at this page, read it, scroll down and click the accept form to continue. The phone number is 1-888-call-FCC

There are 5 commissioners. This is the big cheese. This guy runs the FCC.

This is actually the best and only page you will ever need from the FCC. This page has all the numbers, email addresses, and street address for the FCC.

Only use this to send a message if you believe there is fraud, criminal activity and maybe you are interested in pressing charges.

The Internet Fraud Complaint Center (IFCC) is a partnership between the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the National White Collar Crime Center (NW3C).

Complain to the Department of Public Service

This is actually the most effective place to complain. When you file a complaint with the respective state agency or commission, they send you a reply confirming your complaint. They then ask the company (ex. Verizon - BA) for an answer and a solution. This form is fast and easy. Tell anyone and everyone you know who has problems with Verizon (Bell Atlantic), that at the very least, they can switch phone companies and complain to their state Department of Public Service if they have problems.
